Otto W. Ferrene Jr., Esquire
Otto has been practicing in the Lowcountry of South Carolina for more than 40 years. He graduated from Presbyterian College with a B.A. in English, Minor in Science and attended the University of South Carolina School of Law. Otto is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, and all South Carolina State Courts. 

Otto is active in the local community, including: served as President of both the Hilton Head Island and Van Landingham Rotary Clubs; Elder, Deacon, and Bible Study Leader at the First Presbyterian Church of Hilton Head; Member of the Port Royal Plantation Gun Club; and Affairs Officer for the American Red Cross, Palmetto Chapter. Some of Otto's interests include Backpacking, Tennis, and Markmanship. 

Otto is married to Francis Ferrene of Anderson, South Carolina. Together they have two sons, Otto and Welborn, as well as four grandchildren.

Tawanna Riley-Bolden

Office Manager; Litigation, Domestic and Real Estate Paralegal

Tawanna helps to ensure that the office runs smoothly and professionally. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in: Sociology, Philosophy, and History from the University of South Carolina at Columbia in 2003. Born in Hampton, South Carolina and raised by an Army family, Tawanna grew up traveling all over the United States. She currently resides in Ridgeland, South Carolina with her husband and three daughters: Yasmine, Zahari and Destiny. 

Connie Herrman

Collections and Subrogation Paralegal 

Connie does the firm's accounting, and works on the Collections and Subrogation claims. She has been a resident of Hilton Head Island for 44 years. Prior to working with the firm, Connie was an Office Manager and Bookkeeper for her husand's business, Kurt Herrman, Architect, P.A. Connie and her husband reside in Port Royal Plantation with four cats and a dog. They have two children and five grandchildren. 

Christian Sudduth

Document / File Retirement and Retrieval

Born and raised in Maryland, Christian moved to Hilton Head in the spring of 2009 after living in the Baltimore-Metro area for 26 years. He currently devotes his time as a summer camp instructor through the Island Recreation Center and is also the Head Coach for the Boy's JV / U15 lacrosse team at Hilton Head High School.

Christian holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Adminstration from Towson University and a Master's Degree in Human Resources and Labor Law from Penn State University. 

Doris Foster

Secretary for General Matters

Doris concentrates on adminstrative matters for the firm in addition to working as a Collections Paralegal. She joined Ferrene & Associates in February 1986, and has worked on a permanent or part-time basis since then. Prior to coming to the firm, Doris worked with the Internal Revenue Service as a Tax Examiner in the Error Corrections and Underreported Income divisions.
